Using ON1 Photo RAW for Travel / by John Clark

Traveling for photography is a great adventure, but whether you go away on a “trip of a lifetime” to an exotic international destination or simply take a weekend road trip, the safety of your images and workflow away from home is of the utmost importance. If you’ve ever tried traveling and managing and merging multiple catalogs in Lightroom, you’ll more than appreciate the simplicity of using ON1 Raw.

In this video I will show you my workflow using ON1 RAW while traveling. This includes a three-step backup process to safeguard your images while out on the road, as well as my culling and rating system. Finally, I’ll explain what I do with all my images once safely back home again and able to log onto all the external hard drives.

Oh, and if you want to see the results from my travel adventures, be sure to follow me on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook. Those are the places where I post most of my images.

As always, drop any questions you have about my technique in the comments and I’ll do my best to answer them. Thanks for watching!
